Garden
The garden forms a natural extension of the interior and deserves the same attention and refinement. MAKU.Interior designs gardens that are stylish, functional, and fully aligned with the home and its surroundings. By thinking ahead, especially for new builds, the foundation is laid correctly from the start, saving time, costs, and adjustments later.
The result is a garden that is cohesive in atmosphere, functionality, and appearance. An outdoor space that seamlessly connects to the overall concept and elevates the living experience.

Our approach
Step 1
Non-binding quote request
The client fills in the contact form on the website to request a non-binding price quote and to determine the first available period. Based on the submitted preferences, a tailored quote will be provided.
Step 2
Reservation
Once the quote is approved, the spot is officially reserved upon payment of the invoice. MAKU.Interior requires advance payment, as only a limited number of projects are handled per period. This ensures the schedule is exclusively reserved for the project and that any waiting time is distributed fairly.
Step 3
Confirmation & Intake Form
The client receives a confirmation of the reserved period and is also sent a detailed intake form to outline all their wishes. This information must be submitted in full at least one week before the start date.
Step 4
Start of the Garden Design
The design phase begins. MAKU.Interior presents the 3D visuals of the garden, bringing the design to life. With the Visualization & Lighting package and the Visualization & Animation package, the client also receives 3D visuals of the garden at night. The lighting is shown atmospherically, making it immediately clear how the garden is illuminated after dark.
Step 5
Feedback
There is ample opportunity to discuss questions and suggestions. The 3D visuals are then adjusted once within the package to create the final 3D images and/or 3D animation.
Stap 6
Completion
The final 3D images or 3D animation are delivered, and the materials used are provided. A 2D floor plan with dimensions is also sent. For the Visualization & Lighting and Visualization & Animation packages, the light points are also indicated on the 2D floor plan. The garden design process is now complete.
Planning
A garden consultation takes approximately 1 month. During this period, the customized garden advice is developed and delivered. Because the schedule is always carefully planned, it is not possible to select a date yourself.
Curious about the first available period?
Fill in the contact form on the website. Based on your wishes, MAKU.Interior will prepare a non-binding quote and communicate the first available period. Your spot is officially reserved only when the garden consultation is ordered via the website or confirmed by email with payment of the invoice. Invoicing is always done in advance to ensure a guaranteed place in the schedule. To maintain the quality of each design, MAKU.Interior works with a limited number of projects at the same time. As a result, there may be a waiting period before a garden consultation can start.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the additional cost to have garden furniture included in the 3D visualizations?
At MAKU.Interior, it is possible to have garden furniture fully rendered in 3D, making the overall visualization even more realistic. An additional fee of 15% applies on top of the visualization price based on the plot size. This fee remains the same, whether you choose the basic “Visualization” package or a more extensive package such as “Visualization & Lighting” or “Visualization & Animation.”
Is a planting plan included as well?
A planting plan is not included as a standard part of the garden design. Planting is always coordinated with a specialized landscaper.
Does MAKU.Interior take into account plants that grow locally when designing a garden for a property abroad?
For projects abroad, MAKU.Interior takes into account the local climate conditions and plant species, ensuring that the design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical and sustainable.
Does MAKU.Interior also design rooftop terraces for apartments?
MAKU.Interior also designs stylish and functional rooftop terraces that perfectly complement the architecture and atmosphere of the apartment. Each design is fully customized to suit the specific space and client preferences.
Can I have only a garden design created without the realization?
It is possible to commission only a garden design. MAKU.interior provides a fully developed plan, allowing the client to implement it themselves or with their own landscaper.
Can the garden design be adapted to an existing interior or exterior?
MAKU Interior ensures that the garden design seamlessly aligns with the existing style of the home and interior, creating one harmonious whole.
